BABA'S PIEROGIES
Baba's Pierogies is a fast-casual restaurant that I created that sells authentic Polish pierogies with a modern flare. With extensive research of location and the desirable target market, Baba's would be located in Charlotte, North Carolina. To get this restaurant up and running in Charlotte, I created a business proposal, along with some deliverables. The business proposal contains the actual amount that I would ask the bank for that includes the cost of supply, the average electric/wifi in the area and how much creating a staff would be.

The identity of Baba's Pierogies is meant to feel comforting and traditional, as well as modern and clean. The word Baba is derived from Babcia, which is Polish for grandmother. I shortened it to Baba so it's easy and short to remember, and pretty fun to say. Mixing a script with a sans serif was the best way to show the blending of old and new, as well as keeping the the type in colors that were taken from traditional Polish Pottery and brightening them up.

For the business proposal, I made it interactive and lighthearted. I took the approach of making it look like a takeout order from the restaurant itself, including a takeout box filled with (felt) pierogies, a placemat, a takeout menu and some recipe cards. When the business gets approved, I included a coupon for future orders. On the placemat, the entire business proposal is on there, and the shorter version is on the recipe cards. The takeout menu contained the basic information of the location, type of business, and the experience that Baba's Pierogies will provide.
