FOOLED
Fooled is an art museum exhibit, held at the SCAD Museum of Art, that displays the sad lives behind some of the most famous clowns throughout history. This exhibit is to give a different perspective on a topic/career that has been more recently viewed as scary and unsettling.

I created the marketing material that would lure people in to seeing this exhibit. The first thing the viewer would see before entering the exhibit would be the two large posters of two classics, Bozo the Clown and Oleg Popov with the definition of what a clown is. The definition is the focal point before the beginning of this exhibit to show the original idea of what clowns are on surface level, before taking the time to understand the faces behind the paint. Other forms of advertising would be environmental ads. Where the exhibit is located, in Savannah, GA, there is plenty of opportunities to place posters and billboards downtown for people to see and on the highways that lead into downtown. A small bifold brochure was created to give a little bit of context for the exhibit as another form of marketing, as well a branded tote bag.
