HONESTY
Honesty is a large scale (68"x8.5") infographic that's based off the controversial phrase: Is honesty really the best policy? To create this project, I used Indesign to lay everything out, Illustrator to create the vector icons and Photoshop to edit the photos. Within this infographic, I provided a timeline showing some of the most famous lies told throughout history and some statistics/data on common lies and what lies do to us.

To o achieve a visually appealing and interesting infographic, I chose to stick with two fonts (Nobel for headers and Zeitung Pro for the body text). Keeping the text as sans serif (besides the title) was done to keep everything legible and modern. Nobel has a large font family, so it was useful for the headers throughout to create enough variety in a way that's still cohesive.
For the color scheme, I chose to stick with a dark/navy blue and lime green to contrast, because the meaning of blue and green represents honesty, trust and luckiness. Instead of using white, I chose to use a grayish color, because that represent gray lies and dullness. I mixed in photography and vector images to keep it realistic and informational with touch of playfulness. For the photographs, I kept them black and white with highlights of green to show more contrast and to represent lies.
